Your starting hourly rate is determined by your current qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No Care Experience &amp; No QCF\/NVQ:\u00a0\u00a313.50\/hr (Entry Level)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experienced Care Worker (No QCF\/NVQ):\u00a0\u00a314.00\/hr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experienced Care Worker (Working towards Level 2 QCF\/NVQ):\u00a0\u00a314.25\/hr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualified Care Worker (Holds a completed Level 2 QCF\/NVQ):\u00a0\u00a314.50\/hr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing Senior Carer (Working towards Level 3 QCF\/NVQ):\u00a0\u00a314.75\/hr<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key Duties<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal Care:\u00a0Assisting with dressing, grooming, hygiene, continence management, and safe physical handling\/hoisting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Healthcare &amp; Medication:\u00a0Supporting rehabilitation programmes and assisting with prescribed medications via our E-MAR system (full training provided).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dietary Support:\u00a0Preparing nutritious meals, snacks, and ensuring safe mealtime monitoring\/supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Household Support:\u00a0Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized home environment to protect client wellbeing, managing laundry, and assisting with shopping or recycling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance &amp; Recording:\u00a0Maintaining accurate electronic care logs and reporting any urgent concerns immediately to management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Role Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Transport &amp; Vehicle Legality:\u00a0A valid Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to traveling between community visits (provisional licences cannot be accepted). You must have access to your own fully roadworthy vehicle that holds a valid MOT, up-to-date road tax, and valid insurance with Business Use cover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional Registration:\u00a0You must either be actively registered with Social Care Wales (SCW) or demonstrate the complete ability to register by the end of your 3-month probationary period.
